In these cases, it’s worth ensuring that you leave your pets with someone who will be able to spend as much time with them as you do yourself.

For cats and dogs, another option is boarding. Boarding allows you to enjoy your holiday safe in the knowledge that your loved ones are in the hands of caring, trained professionals. Boarding is also particularly worthwhile if your pet has special dietary or medical needs. Remember though that they will be in close quarters with other pets and so should be up to date with flea control and well-groomed.
